If he's a newish boyfriend and genuinely can't understand why you're angry then he sounds like ex-boyfriend material. If he could understand and just disagreed then at least you've got room for discussion, but as it is? Sounds like irreconcilable differences.

Seriously, unless this guy was stellar in every other respect (and if he thinks that drivel is funny, he can't possibly be stellar in much that matters - everything is linked) - then yes, dump him.

The fact that this has touched such a nerve is telling - it sounds as if you don't respect him and you know why.

If that's the case, take this cue and yup, kick to the curb.

Unprofessional drivel which makes the company seem like unprofessional drivel, which presumably wasn't the impression they were hoping to make.
