I have an adult blog on tumblr and I post adult content. I follow other blogs like this which will openly post porn etc. Thats why I followed them. But, a lot of the time, they post things such as
"I hate men! Men are all pigs and rapists! Kill all men! I am a feminist!"
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't feminism all about equality? why are they like this?
I come home to a DP who treats me like a princess. If I say no, it's no. He'll open a door for me and all that crap (one thing these tumblr feminists don't like, is they HATE men doing ANYTHING for them. I don't understand why.) He is NOT a rapist, a pig, he can be an idiot but thats why we love our DPs. Apparently I am a shit woman for having a male P.
I got a compliment from some guy in the street saying I looked good on a night out. he asked me if I had a boyfriend and I said yes I do, so he said ah man cool have a good night then walked off and congratulated my partner for having me! According to tumblr feminists, he raped me just by looking/talking to me. Anyone want to tell me why?
These people think that if you are transgender (FtM) you are just as bad as a man because you identify as a man.
And also, these people like to make words up for themselves. Like, "I am a transfat feminist who is schizophrenic and has PTSD, I am triggered by anything to do with fattism and the colour Teal."
are these people serious?
Like, I'm all for equality. I just want everyone to be equal but under no circumstances can I see these girls/women to be feminists when they don't want men, they hate and want to kill men and all transgendered men and bring their sons up as girls.
This is not feminism is it?
Are they being serious?
It winds me. Anyone who can not wind me and still answer this OP will get a Cake & Brew Grin

I always thought vermicious meant 'full of worms'. Sorry.

Hm. As I am vegetarian, I suspect it means full of Italian noodles rather than full of vermin. I hope.

TheSameBoat · 01/09/2014 20:10

VermiciousKnid- I suspect you're full of either vermin or Italian noodles. I'd go for the noodles if I were you.

TheVermiciousKnid · 01/09/2014 20:00

Mendacious and pernicious are good, but so is vermicious. Obviously.

So, if -acious and -icious mean 'full of' or 'abounding in', what is vermicious full of or abounding in? You've got me worried now. (I suspect it means full of wind.)

I am really a knid, of course. All knids are exactly the same.

PistolWhipped · 01/09/2014 19:58

Oh, I'm howling at this OP! You're hilarious! Grin

LRDtheFeministDragon · 01/09/2014 19:56

I just like mendacious because it has men in it. Secretly, I'm gagging for a shag, natch.

QisforQcumber · 01/09/2014 19:54

Abounding in crap. Very princess like indeed.

TheSameBoat · 01/09/2014 19:52

Ooooh I love the words mendacious and pernicious. They're connected too because the suffixes "acious" and "icious" both mean "full of" or "abounding in".

In which case I'm inventing a new word to describe the OP: crapacious Grin

QisforQcumber · 01/09/2014 19:36

Biromantic
^ surprisingly this does not mean lover of biros.

WhatWitchcraftIsThis · 01/09/2014 19:29

I come home to a DP who treats me like a princess

So, he doesn't let you out of the house and keeps you for breeding stock and for gaining power in other kingdoms?

I hope you get to wear a tiara at least. It sounds like shit life to be honest.

CaptChaos · 01/09/2014 19:29

Mendacious is a fabulous word, pernicious also good. I rather like disingenuous though. I like it more now because it seems so fitting when used in relation to the OP.

divingoffthebalcony · 01/09/2014 19:26

I like Tumblr for its nerds and fandoms. It has an interesting culture when it comes to sexuality and definitions thereof (asexual/demisexual/hetero/gay/bi/pansexual, aromantic/panromantic... srsly it's been an education Grin) which is why I can well imagine some crazy radical feminists feeling very much at home.

QisforQcumber · 01/09/2014 19:23

Just looked up medacious - that's a lovely word isn't it? I find pernicious rolls off the tongue in a similar manner. Vocabulary is important. Smile

scallopsrgreat · 01/09/2014 19:20

I seem to also like the word great Hmm. Similarly, it could also be used to describe women.

scallopsrgreat · 01/09/2014 19:19

Mendacious is a great word. It's a really great sounding word.

Another word I like the sound of is eclectic. Could also be used to describe women.

gincamparidryvermouth · 01/09/2014 19:19

mendacious is a great word...

I hoped so fervently that there'd be a question about miracles in my philosophy of religion final paper so that I could use the line "mad, muddled or mendacious." There was. I got to use it. Delighted.

gincamparidryvermouth · 01/09/2014 19:15

Bif haha!!

Bifauxnen · 01/09/2014 19:11

I've been on a site called 4chan. It's full of hateful immature men who hate women and like harassing them. I'm so concerned that all men endorse this behaviour as I don't see any man condemning them, it's most worrisome. Are they serious? They simply must be because well, if you can't trust everything posted on the net then what can you trust? If only someone could reassure me that all men aren't hateful scum (but please don't piss me off).
Tis most vexatious.

AnyFucker · 01/09/2014 19:02

It brings to mind Keanu Reeves, but I think that was bodacious which is an entirely different thing...

SevenZarkSeven · 01/09/2014 19:00

Oh yes that sums women up nicely, and feminists especially.

Nice work LRD!

SevenZarkSeven · 01/09/2014 18:59
LRDtheFeministDragon · 01/09/2014 18:57

Isn't it?

AnyFucker · 01/09/2014 18:56

mendacious is a great word...

LRDtheFeministDragon · 01/09/2014 18:55

It's just how we women are, seven. Sad

Inherently mendacious and inclined towards nominal misrepresentation.
