Hi Amazon are selling a book that tells you what counties you can visit and legally have sex with children. I am totally disgusted at this.

What, from a global perspective, constitutes a 'child'?

Happily they have removed it now. No apology or anything though.

Um, where are the publishers of this book based? Aren't they commiting a serious criminal offence?

maytheoddsbeeverinyourfavour · 03/08/2012 00:36

I don't know if I'm more Shock Angry or Sad

I know this type of thing is available, but god being able to buy it on amazon is just beyond appalling

MildewMayhew · 03/08/2012 00:33

EBAL, is there an official body this can be reported to? Very disturbing.

LucieMay - Wikipedia tells you about the age of consent in different countries which is fine. This book is a "an Age of Consent: sex tourists guide". It is specifically marketing itself as a book that tells you what country you can travel to and have sex with children legally. And that is disgusting. Amazon should be ashamed of themselves

That information is freely available on Wikipedia. Seems odd there'd be a book for it.
