Thread prompted by one in AIBU ...

? Women's performance is always evaluated separately from their appearance.
? Women are proportionally represented at all levels in government.
? Half of all CEOs are women, matched equally with men by corporate worth and reward packages.
? Women are proportionally represented at all levels in the judiciary.
? Women carry equal weight in the military and law-enforcement services.
? Half of all wealth is owned by women.
? Women's fertility is not given as an excuse for their disenfrachisement.
? No woman is blamed for her own rape.
? Mainstream pornography does not promote violence against women.
? Mainstream media do not promote the sexualisation of women.
? No woman is expected to tolerate violence against her person.

That'll do for starters.

As a free extra: I will accept that men's rights movements have equal validity when ...

? All of the above.
? Men accept full responsibility, of all kinds, for all of their children, as automatically as women do.

garlinutter You still don't get this do you? Let me make it even clearer. If the woman chooses to have sex with a man, and she knows that she's not on contraception and/or he isn't "covered", then it's her issue if she gets pregnant.
Blimey!

"I will stop being a feminist...when I die"

Nice and simple, eh? Wink

Plus all the points in the first few points.

garlicnutcracker · 27/12/2011 00:34

Yes, if a woman has sex without contraception, then she is choosing to possibly start a baby. She can't do that without your - ahem, input, though, so YOU have EQUAL choice.

You can only start a baby if NEITHER of you chose to prevent it.

Am surprised you find that hard to grasp ... how old are you? Confused

You said that 'dickcovers' ruined sex, and that they didnt fit the well endowed. Were you not talking about yourself in that situation?

PS correcting people's typos doesn't make you sound clever.

Lackree · 27/12/2011 00:33

Sorry - should have clarified! Legally im sure thats the case, I meant in more of a general societal viewpoint, I was reading recently about (particularly in America) 'deadbeat moms' - how in some states its almost taboo for a entitled men to legally request financial support.

WorkingClassMum · 27/12/2011 00:32

WorkingClassMum

Yawn!

(and learn to spell "you're").

Oh, I can spelz the bestest, it's my typin' that fails me.

Derailing aside, I'll also stop pushing the feminist issue when the male contraception pill is actually created and men stop having excuses about controlling their fertility.

HatesCensorship · 27/12/2011 00:32

garlicnutter

Yes, that's the level of your debating skills!

garlicnutcracker · 27/12/2011 00:31

I do agree with much of your last post, MJ. Feminism seems to be going backwards in many respects, to my utter dismay.

I think I understand your problem better now, HC, thank you. It's that you've got such an enormous penis you can hardly persuade anybody to have sex with you for fear of injury. Must be rather difficult. May I suggest using a tight-fitting condom? The discomfort might prevent your purple-headed monster from reaching maximum size, thus improving your sexual opportunities while reducing your need to run away from any babies you may have created.
Win-win :)

WilsonFrickett No, I didn't advance that argument (note the spelling).
I'm saying if a woman has sex without contraception (male or female), it was her choice to get pregnant. This is clearly difficult for some of you to grasp.

Mumcentreplus · 27/12/2011 00:30

first class wanker...I think you should posh wank just in case...

Tortington · 27/12/2011 00:30

hatescensorship i feel its a shame that you do not have any control over when and who you reproduce with. you have no control

WilsonFrickett · 27/12/2011 00:29

Oh yeah, a baby really, really ruins sex too

Mumcentreplus · 27/12/2011 00:28

lmao a dick cover ruins sex...how about a friggin baby...work through that shit...

MJinSparklyStockings · 27/12/2011 00:28

I dont see a need to counter argue a statement along the lines of "And "a dick cover" ruins sex, and they don't fit well endowed men either.", much better to let the ridiculous argue its own point.

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 27/12/2011 00:27

oh, garlic, it going just smashin'

you must be made-up

WilsonFrickett · 27/12/2011 00:27

HC did you actually just advance an arguement that men shouldn't wear condoms? You do know that not only are the wimmen out to steal your spermz, we can also give you nasty diseases, doncha? I'd sheathe that stonker if I were you. Just sayin'

HatesCensorship · 27/12/2011 00:26

MJinSparklyStockings

I don't see you coming up with a useful counter-argument.

WorkingClassMum · 27/12/2011 00:26

And "a dick cover" ruins sex, and they don't fit well endowed men either.

Not like it'd be a problem for you then...

But your obviously shopping in the wrong places

Mumcentreplus · 27/12/2011 00:25

Don't worry I won't get pregnant ..because I said so...uh huh...

garlicnutcracker · 27/12/2011 00:25

Going well so far, innit, AF?

OP posts:
garlicnutcracker · 27/12/2011 00:25

HC, your last post could only possibly make sense if a woman were solely responsible for getting pregnant. Perhaps nobody told you sperm are required.
