Just catching up on the new series, when I noticed The (gorgeous) Doctor had to ask Rory for permission to hug Amy.

A bit of a WTF moment.

Anyone know how this came about? Or thoughts on this?

MainlySpoons, 'a posh potato' Grin. That's EXACTLY what Smith looks like. Why do so many people fancy him? I don't geddit.

I probably wouldn't say no to Rory though. Blush

I leave you lot for 12 hours... And this is what you turn my thread into?

I like it! Grin

How did I manage to miss a leching over Dr Who characters thread? Bah.

Matt Smith is luvverly. As is River Song. And Gwen (very sexy bit of 'terrorism' last week!) and Captain Jack. I adored Ianto too.

Don't you feminists know nuffink about bollocks??!

Calvin Klein Body Briefs boast a body-defining fit and a contour pouch, this underwear flatters any physique.

They've discontinued the Body Boost briefs, which featured a support strap around the base of the pouch, giving "enhanced definition". Which is rather a shame, to my sweaty menopausal mind ....

LRDTheFeministDragon · 29/08/2011 21:18

Sardine, he's been reading this thread over my shoulder now ... he seems fairly calm.

I'm sorry, but with Dred's post I have bad images of Alex Kingston now!

Dred · 29/08/2011 20:54

I suppose they were trying to make her come across as a child still. Just didn't work on Alex kingston..

SardineQueen · 29/08/2011 20:47

OMG a quick google tells me you can get a "scrotum lift" done by your friendly local cosmetic surgeon Shock

SardineQueen · 29/08/2011 20:45

Does your DH know about the fate awaiting his testicles?

When I told mine about increasing dangliness he looked quite horrified.

LRDTheFeministDragon · 29/08/2011 20:36

DH has just leant over and said seriously 'I'm not distracting you from anything am I?'.

Poor love, I think he thinks the spluttering noise I just made there indicated I was doing a particularly tricky bit of work.

Grin

You could get sexy peek-a-boo testicle wonderbras, with little fluffy bits to simulate luxuriant youthful ball-hair.

SardineQueen · 29/08/2011 20:30

Apparently testicles hang lower as men age in the way that they obviously would if you think about it for 5 mins.

So why are there not wonderbras for bollocks available to give the impression of young perky testicles? Eh?

LRDTheFeministDragon · 29/08/2011 20:21

Btw, speaking of beards I noticed the image for a Guardian article about concealer today showed a woman's lip with a faint suggestion of hair ... I was quietly pleased it wasn't a perfectly smooth airbrushed version.

Doesn't follow, garlic. If A therefore B, etc.

I can't agree with the inherent beauty of bollocks, Sardine, but I do think someone should write a novel of that title.

garlicnutter · 29/08/2011 20:17

Ahh ... I've got a nice beard coming along, though Blush

And I used to like hairy men's legs, if I cast my mind back that far ...

SardineQueen · 29/08/2011 20:16

I know it often comes up on MN that men's bodies aren't beautiful in the same way as women's.

Bollocks, say I. As it were Grin

garlicnutter · 29/08/2011 20:16

I have a very boring sex life. Confused No sex life, in fact ... Miss! Does that mean Garlic's a Non-Feminist?!

Oops, my last was to Spoons not Sardine.

I do find those kinds of threads funny though ... the shock at the idea of women actually liking men's bodies seems to be a constant. Likewise I sometimes get a very strong sense that some non-feminists have very, very boring sex lives.

(Not that I get to be smug, wretched DH is 'fasting' this week. Hmm)

SardineQueen · 29/08/2011 20:11

Bloody hell I can't string a sentence together tonight

Someone has leched all my cerebellum out Sad

LRDTheFeministDragon · 29/08/2011 20:09

Mmm, my posts to you today have been a bit revolting, haven't they? It's not actually anything personal, honest!

SardineQueen · 29/08/2011 20:09

There was a thread about objectification where someone said that women should have smooth legs so it's nice when men touch them, but it doesn't work the other way around and women don't really touch men's legs like that.

Cue much singgering.
