Did any of you know that there is a FIFA World Cup going on at the moment?

Has it, MrsCog? I only knew about it cause it is being held in Germany and Germany are the defending champions, so it is being reported more widely in the German media.

I agree it's low profile, but it has been reported on Radio 1 newsbeat a lot this week.

I know, I don't even LIKE football.

But it irks me that they make such a massive fuss over the mens' WC, and no one even knows that the womens' competition is running at present.
