Was Bristol Palin raped?

according to this bristol palin was so drunk when she conceived her son that she doesn't remember having sex.

Sounds like rape to me.

Then she was basically 'forced' to marry her rapist? WTF! Sometimes America sounds more like the middle east!

yes, we know this. but I am not seeing anyone calling her a liar here. and as someone had said, she isn't stating she was raped ( outside of the statutory rape assessment). We can all speculate on her circumstances, feelings before and after, and the possible implications but the accusation isn't made clear at all. So yes I do refuse to rise to the 'misogynyst's challenge' of blieve or be damned.

Pan, of course people shouldn't take everything they read to be true, but Bristols account of what happened that night has received far more scrutiny on this thread than most autobiographies would. Generally when women talk about their experiences of non consensual sex they are disbelieved and every attempt is made to destroy their account. Women know this and that is why they don't report rapes and sexual assaults. The feminist position has to be to believe these women because almost certainly they really are telling the truth.

Karam - is that to me? if so not sure what it is I am needing to be pointing out to you. I indicate to believe one account of a teenage drunken incident wholey, when you don't know the people involved and then say if you don't buy it all you must be a hater of women and children is way out of proportion and sense. But I may have read you wrong?
