Just to mention that many of these companies are multinational (I don't know about ergo/hmi but munich re certainly is and the others may well be) and this event for their top sales men people may have included people from all sorts of different countries.

I think they should should make a statement and get rid of the fuckers involved... but don't think they are as bad as the men who actually organised the abuse of these women for their company.

This section would get more traffic and would do more to educate if people's posts wern't picked over. I read Molly's post as being completely sympathetic and didn't think she actually meant the women were happy or "willing" to be there at all.

But that OK keep only preaching to your choir because that's how you change minds right?

I wonder how these same men can have sex with these prostitutes then go home and see their wives and daughters. I am assuming that these men aren't all single. Obviously prostitutes are NEVER wives or daughters.

Munich have owned ERGO for years, but the company who actually held the orgy (HMI I think) were only taken over recently by ERGO.

That's how I understand it anyway.

I believe the company in question is ERGO, a division of Munich Re.

My understanding is that Munich Re increased its holdings in ERGO to 91.9 percent in early 2002*, 5 years before this use of prostitutes by their employees.

Am I missing something?
