If he writes it all, isn't he just talking to himself?

But I don't think he's me. Dunno about you.

Prunnhilda · 26/03/2011 18:05

The fact that he is wrong is a given. He knows he's wrong too, I assume. That's the joke. It's about silly conspiracy theories. He has made one up and had a wee go at Mn presumably because Justine spilled a drink on him at a party, or he asked a question about baby poo and got laughed at - who knows?
It's really not worth analysing!

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 26/03/2011 18:03

Oh no! Not Robert Webb! Doing a Toby Young. How tiresome - I used to love you well really Jez in Peep Show but you by extension

AyeRobot · 26/03/2011 18:01

Bloke pontificating on a subject about which he knows next to nothing and being given the public space to do so. Why are we surprised?

Pipe down, Webby.

I know SGM isn't British but how many of you have not heard of Jim Davidson?! I feel very old - he was mainstream tv when I was a kid Sad

I read it as having a humorous pop at the website in general and not the feminist board.

Meh, I think he has a point - there are a lot of posters on here (not in this section) who seem to have the objective of making other people feel that their choices mean that they have failed their children - for examples, look for anyone citing Oliver James, or any thread where controlled crying is mentioned. Posters persistently lie about research and evidence.

Coming on a parenting forum to do that seems anti-feminist. I've never heard of this Jim Davidson, but it seems plausible that many pages are written entirely by him.

David Mitchell mentions MN in his columns sometimes. Peep show is the only TV show that makes me laugh these days, that and south park.

Exactly dittany. Which is why I refuse to take his nonsense remotely seriously.

I expect he did the usual journo thing and read a few AIBU threads then based his - ahem - "observations" on that.

I love David Mitchell and now it looks as though Robert Webb might be a good 'un too. Robert if you're reading this please get David to pop in and say hi? :)

Is eyelash batting allowed on the Feminism forum?

shockers · 26/03/2011 17:08

InmaculadaConcepcion · 26/03/2011 17:03
