Merry Christmas to everyone who's posted on women's rights in 2010

Not that I am drunk, at all. But I want to wish everyone who's posted on this section a lovely Christmas and I hope you get all the fun and relaxation you need.

And I hope you're not the one who has to peel all the potatoes by yourself while the men go down the pub, obviously. Xmas Grin

Just got some RL things I need to sort.

I hope to come to MWR - but need to see if DH on business trip and if so "book" GPs to have DS.

Very belated seasons greetings everyone. Just finished the family festivities (I did occasionally see a man with his hands in the sink, but not fil!) Am now trying to prevent dp from arranging endless social event which I know will involve me stressing and cooking (he has organised tonights menu and I have just done two of the courses - though to be fair the piss easy two!)...I want to think a lot more about feminist issues, and this section has been fab and a real eyeopener at times...first port of call for me on MN now. Have a good New Year everyone (if you do that - is my biet noir - hate it) and looking forward to lots of challanging, thought-provoking threads!

Ah, missed this but I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas, since posting and being educated here I have a little more purpose to my life....which sounds sickly and twee, but without this section I wouldn't have done the soul searching which lead me to the conference!

Can't believe I'm still up. I need to wrap this computer up. Have just installed Skype and I-tunes and wireless network on it and set myself up as administrator so DS can't change settings... it is incredible how long it can take to do simple little things on a computer (particularly if you get distracted by mumsnet threads in between).

It is actually christmas!

Good for you Fennel, I've just got back am now settling down to wrap presents at midnight.

New Year's Resolution? Be nicer to everyone, and take down the patriarchy. Not necessarily at the same time of course...
