A flat planet which is balanced on the backs of 4 elephants, which in turn stand on the shell of a giant space turtle.

Everyone knows which author you've been reading 😁

Love this book so much.

Mainly Dublin, with a bit of Paris and England.

One strand of the story 1920s - 1940s then a present day strand.

@CurlewKate All the Marion Todd books are set there. The first one is See Them Run. Someone on here recommended them. If you like audiobooks, the author reads them on audible.

Thank you!

Love this book! A lovely reread or are you lucky enough to be reading it for the first time?

Ready Made Family?

Antonia Forest? I recently bought a copy of this to reread, but I haven't been game to do so, as I don't want to find myself disappointed with one of my very favourite childhood memories. I read and reread all the Marlowe books so many times.

Three part series. Jaipur, Shimla and Paris. 1950s - 1970s.

Was that trilogy written about 15/20 years ago? Those places in conjunction ring a bell about something I read a fair while ago, but that is about all I can remember. There's been a few thousand books since then and sadly details blur nowadays.
