@JustKeepSlimming the musical heels one - the pattern on the dress is a clue. Think Greek mythology and heroes killed by arrows.

Just rephrase that. It's an awful book. My book club uses that as a standard to measure awfulness of other books by. Misery porn.

@Amaksy those rivers are all located in the same city. It's a series of books about police, faeries, river gods etc.

I love that series. Well worth reading - it's the first clue I got.
