I've missed out on two now. I quite like the idea, anyone else?

I get my books from Flame and I post on to Madhouse in the circle.

FlossCampi · 19/08/2008 22:52

I've had books from:

  • lunavix
  • Flame
  • TheMadHouse
  • Psychomum
  • ???

which is why I thought the ??? must be Whispy's since that's the "gap" in the list of people before me in the posting circle.

Next up the list is mehdismummy, but having snooped on her thread in the book swaps section, it doesn't sound like it. Mystified.

whispywhisp · 19/08/2008 19:13

Nope, not mine.

rosmerta · 19/08/2008 15:50

DK

whispywhisp · 19/08/2008 15:47

rosmerta...what are the author's initials of the book you've just read?

TheMadHouse · 18/08/2008 10:12

Yes I have two to post to Luna - just finnished second one - sorry

FlossCampi · 18/08/2008 10:10

rosmerta, I couldn't figure it out either... wondering if it's whispy's though, looking at the posting list.

rosmerta · 18/08/2008 10:01

I've just finished the last one, and wanted to post about it but can't find the thread and can't work out whose book it is!

whispywhisp · 13/08/2008 11:07

Floss...I sent two to madhouse a while back because I sent one in advance, iykwim! I had one to send anyway that was slightly late and one I'd got that I knew I wouldn't get in to, so to save on p&p I sent both at the same time. Hope that helps! x

FlossCampi · 13/08/2008 00:08

madhouse, if you have 2 to post to Luna does that mean she has missed a month (and hence I shouldn't hold my breath )? I'm off on hols from Thurs next week.

whispywhisp · 12/08/2008 13:23

Thank you Flame...rec'd today! x

Flamesparrow · 11/08/2008 20:23

Posted it!

squilly · 11/08/2008 14:57

Dinny
Sorry, but I was late sending the books, after I'd promised to. So sorry...the summer holidays really put a crimp in my organisational skills (what little I have).

You should get your books shortly though as they were sent on Saturday.

Hope they get to you soon and apologies....

Flamesparrow · 10/08/2008 22:58

no, i'm crap but yay, you're back!

whispywhisp · 09/08/2008 17:40

Flame - have you sent your book to me yet? Just so you know - madhouse - I've not had a book yet this month...!! x

SwampsterHasAWarmFuzzy · 09/08/2008 15:17

SherlockSwampster wonders why that's why she is still waiting for a book from dinny? [penny drops emoticon]

squilly · 04/08/2008 19:26

I'm late sending mine I'm afraid Dinny...but I'll send you two this time. This months and lasts.

I've read this months already and I don't want to send it late again.

This second book arrived late last week...I started it this morning and I read it today. It's just what I'd hoped the book club would do for me. Not even vaguely my kind of book, but I really enjoyed it.

Off now to sort through my bookshelves for the next one!

Cocodrillo · 04/08/2008 14:43

Luna is still in, as far as I know!

She has a new address though, will e-mail it to you MadHouse.

TheMadHouse · 03/08/2008 14:29

Coco - Who should I be posting to, as I was posting tp Luna. I have two books to post

squeezebox · 02/08/2008 15:05

Any chance I could join too? Very keen.....reading keeping me sane

FlossieTCake · 02/08/2008 01:29

Yay! That's quicker than I expected - the nice lady at the sorting office must have waved her magic wand

I'd never heard of him before, actually - pretty much exactly what I wanted out of a book swap! He got a mention in a recent Grauniad piece about dumbing down cover design - interesting piece, wld link but I'm not sure whether we're still trying to keep book titles to the Book Swap circle threads...?

rosmerta · 01/08/2008 11:21

Turned up today Flossie, looking forward to reading it, looks good!

rosmerta · 30/07/2008 20:46

ok, thanks Flossie

FlossieTCake · 30/07/2008 20:16

Rosmerta, have posted today - sorry for the delay! Hope it should be with you this week at least.

Cocodrillo · 29/07/2008 18:26

Squilly, I've posted to you today
