I've missed out on two now. I quite like the idea, anyone else?

That's a good idea Squilly, posting up here about books you've finished and can pass on. I'll do same. Unless they're from library . I'm lucky in that the library is only five minutes walk away from my house.

Our local library has just started a loyalty scheme. If you withdraw a book you get a stamp on your card, and after six stamps you get a free DVD rental.

I'm in there twice a week with the kids so I'll be putting them out of business .

whispywhisp · 07/05/2008 06:59

Flossie...yes of course I will forward it on.

Flame - have you sent the book circle book yet? Just bit worried in case you have and its got lost!

FlossieTCake · 07/05/2008 00:33

squilly/whispywhisp - would also love to read The Thirteenth Tale; I keep requesting it on ReadItSwapIt but nobody likes my books on there... can I borrow it when you're done, whispy?

rosmerta · 06/05/2008 22:00

[grovels on knees for forgiveness]

CocodeBear · 06/05/2008 21:14

Glad that you've got the book, Squilly.

Now that you have I feel I can start chasing Rosmerta.

Where to start stalking, hmm...

whispywhisp · 06/05/2008 18:02

Squilly - I would love to read the Thirteenth Tale - I will CAT you, thank you. x

squilly · 06/05/2008 12:53

I got mine today. Yippeee!!! Thank you CCDB. I've read it before but can't wait to read it again as it was years ago and I vaguely remember enjoying it a lot (was going to say immensley, but couldn't spell it!).

I am just getting to the end of a beautiful book called The Thirteenth Tale. If anyone wants it, CAT me your address and I'll forward it on.

Off to read in the garden for half an hour with a cappucino and ww biscuit!

Who's got their books so far? From reading the thread it's only Psychomum .

I know loads of people have posted.

I posted mine yesterday, Squilly. Hope it gets to you soon.

whispywhisp · 02/05/2008 11:58

Madhouse.....DH posted your book earlier this week and from what I can remember he sent it first class so you should've got it by now?!

squilly · 01/05/2008 08:48

No Probs CCDB

I have 3 on the go at the moment, so I'm not desperate.

I sent one to Dinny yesterday and I sent one to Mehdismummy for fun. I don't need it back mdm, so if you hate it, you can just lob it/recycle it. I didn't have many in the genre you read, but I'll keep my eye out for some interesting or obscure ones and I'll drop one over every once in a while. Reading is so good for the soul...especially when times are rough.

Right....off to shower and brush my teeth now dh has taken lo to school! Then off to the charity shops to do a bit of booky shopping!

CocodeBear · 01/05/2008 08:36
