I have been working my way through the Matilda Dark series by Michael Wood. And have enjoyed them all.
But I have now got onto the Time is running out book that came out last year. Did anyone else read this one and wtf?

The latest one seems really badly written to me, almost as if someone else has written it.

I have read all of them and the latest one os so dark. I wish he hadn't gone there. Too depressing now.
