Can anyone recommend any books set in Texas please? Fiction and non-fiction. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

TIA

I really enjoyed Annie Proulx 'That Old Ace In The Hole' - it's about a youngish guy that gets sent to the Texas panhandle on business and comes to love it. I remember it as both funny and gentle. Annie Proulx is a great writer.
