I’d like to read a book set on a stormy night...

I love books where the weather is very atmospheric. So, anything to do with storms, blizzards and heavy rain. I’ve read a few (the last couple seem to have the word ‘guest’ in the title) and am looking for some more to enjoy. Please recommend me something.

I was going to say Dark Matter - and also Thin Air, another Michelle Paver. It's set in the Himalayas and the mountain fog plays a big part in making it so eerie and haunting.

Bit of a random one but definitely the secret garden. Re read it recently and I'm right there on the moors!

Dark Matter by Michelle Paver! Properly creepy and you'll really feel the cold.

The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley fits the bill and is much more entertaining than The Guest List by the same author.
