Milly Johnson is fab and funny. I'd definitely recommend The Birds And The Bees. Lucy Diamond books are good on romance but also relationships generally.

Loretta Chase is fun. Lord of Scoundrels has great dialogue. I have a bit of a soft spot for Jo Beverley - she was such a nice person, but I’ve not read any of hers for a long time.

Have you read anything by Jennifer Crusie?
I can recommend 'Welcome to Temptation,' funny and sexy , the hero is hot and our heroine is most definitely not a goody-goody.
