Have you tried the "Windsingers" ?
Megan Lindholm is Robin Hobb, and George R. Martin was co-author.

I’ve read a few of them, but did nobody else have a major WTF moment at the character with SN being called Thick?

SmellMySmellbow · 26/05/2019 09:13

Yes! Loved them all

UrsulaPandress · 26/05/2019 09:11

Jealous if you haven't read them.

The last of the Fitz series had me proper howling. Big fat sobs.

ViSovari · 26/05/2019 09:09

Love them!!! All of the books based around fitz, the liveships and the rainwilds are amazing!

MoobaaMoobaa · 26/05/2019 09:07

Yes, been a few years since I read some of them, but loved the stories of fitz.
