Hurrah. Mrs Beeton okaaay, read on holiday last year, that sort of a book. Best book ever though is Bad Blood by Lorna Sage, have you read that? Move it up the list, if not.

Enid · 06/06/2007 11:06

yes

ahundredtimes · 06/06/2007 11:03

Yes great book. The original edition had a great photograph on the front of a boy balancing on a long pole, does it still?

Enid · 06/06/2007 10:39

right ok hundred x then I will try Beeton if you agree with me on Restless and Any Human Heart.

I am reading A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry atm - recommended by MrsBadger and I am enjoying it so much even though it is heartbreaking - such a superb book.

I'm with Enid on 'lite' Restless, and Any Human Heart, I liked that too. Oh keep going with Beeton, I liked it, but I liked the bit where they all go and live in the grandstand at the racecourse.

JoolsToo · 06/06/2007 10:21
