Yeah she did Bella, pretty tame stuff, but titilating, more a collection of stuff that she read as a teenage girl, but lots of fun

midnightexpress · 07/06/2007 10:52

ooh Pan, that's funny, I was going to say exactly the same thing about Birdsong - just that one scene.

suzycreamcheese · 06/06/2007 19:25

BellaLasagne · 06/06/2007 19:08

Hasn't India Knight published a book of 'all naughty bits'?

clairvoyant · 06/06/2007 19:04

Henry Miller's Sexus trilogy is v erotic and has a great threesome in it. Is about his affair with Anais Nin, so interesting too.... enjoy...

wheresthevalium · 06/06/2007 14:22

VOX by Nicholson Baker

niceglasses · 06/06/2007 14:07

I always found ' The English Patient' sexy but my visions of it are mixed up with the film.

End of the Affair/Graham Greene.

Oh God is there a Ralph Fiennes link here?

Quattrocento · 06/06/2007 14:04

Fanny Hill

In Mumsnetspeak, should that be Fanjo Hill?

cheeryface · 06/06/2007 14:02

.

FrannyandZooey · 05/06/2007 10:32

I tend to find certain characters sexy and my imagination can do the rest, usually

Jonathan from Brother of the More Famous Jack is very appealing

I think I may have mentioned K M Peyton's Patrick Pennington erm once or twice

Heathcliffscathy · 04/06/2007 23:41

So I Am Glad by A L Kennedy.

One of my favourite books ever and has some v sexy scenes in it.

Very Strangely..another for Jayne Eyre here.....it is her determination and commitment that has it.....

and there is a scene in Sebastian Foulks Birdsong that led me to wafting my cheeks with a thin pamphlet...

and a John Fowles novel, forget which one, that is just sex between the covers......as it were.

bananabump · 04/06/2007 23:11

Sod books (she says because she can't remember the names of any she's read) and get yourself on literotica or cliterati

Searchable stories, and lots of!

Heathcliffscathy · 04/06/2007 23:00

MrsJohnCusack · 04/06/2007 23:00

oh I opened this to say Jane Eyre too, but Franny got there first

however it seems you may be talking about something a little more outre and modern, not sure I can help

Heathcliffscathy · 04/06/2007 22:55

I have been afraid of the real stuff since I got a book free with some godawful long since cancelled 'woman's' magazine that involved a female chef, her male collegues and a whole variety of vegetables.

Heathcliffscathy · 04/06/2007 22:51

welshboris, thanks for that by the way, on the other thread....

I know what you mean - slash is so uncensored that I would not know where to begin. the grammar and bad writing is the equivilant of a bucket of cold water - oh maybe I am an erotica snob!

NotQuiteCockney · 04/06/2007 22:47

I'm sure some slash is subtle.

Actually, I've never actually managed to read any, the bits I've looked at were grammatically difficult.

I wonder whether being squicked by bad grammar and spelling is a common sexual preference? Probably not, given all the alarmingly bad slash etc out there.

FrannyandZooey · 04/06/2007 22:46

moi?

BishyBarneyBee · 04/06/2007 22:46

or just google for a bit of slash if subtle is not your thing.
