who remembers Cynthia Harnett - The Woolpack, Ring Out Bow Bells etc?

I have just re-read these even though they are children's books. Marvellous. Think she is out of print now...

Oh Lord, Marina - I'm not sure I should tell you if you're a fan, but her partner was one of those 'political" paedophiles - you know, the ones who think that children can consent and we are supressing them if we impose our blinkered moralistic views on them. And she supportend him.
