Who SHOULD have been Sirius?

I was torn with putting this in film or books, but went with books because that is where the description was...

Was discussing with friends over the weekend that Gary Oldman (as good as he is) just doesn't have the appeal that we felt Sirius had in the book... I can't quite work out who I would have preferred though.

Suggestions?

millie99 · 25/04/2007 23:14

BandofMothers · 25/04/2007 23:12

Isn't Tonks supposed to be short and a bit tubby?????

Nikki76 · 25/04/2007 23:11

I expected her to be fatter for some reason....

MrsWho · 25/04/2007 23:09

Nikki76 · 25/04/2007 23:05

How have I not seen him before???!

MrsWho · 25/04/2007 23:04

Yes Richard Armitridge would have been good, have just added him on the MN hunky men thread too!

Caligula · 25/04/2007 23:03

Ha, mildmanneredjanitor you are a woman who is extremely useful to other women. You like all the ugly gimmers like Christopher Ecclestone and don't like any of the swoonworthy gorgeous ones. There is no conflict with you. Marvellous. Let's go clubbing together.

Nikki76 · 25/04/2007 22:58

Oooohhhh - very good choice imo! Very brooding.....would shag 'im!!

Richard Armitage is the bloke who plays Guy of Gisbourne. And no-one can understand why Marian doesn't shag him instead of Robin, because he's gorge.

MrsWho · 25/04/2007 22:54

Yeah I only like him as the doctor (in that way) Hmm not is it the the f*cked up thing I like or the timetravelling one?

Thanks for agreeing about the dog Thats one of the worst bits of that film for me (that and not explaining the map properly)

Caligula · 25/04/2007 22:53

Yes Daniel DL is an old gimmer

But Sirius is supposed to be a bit prematurely aged by Azkaban, so DDL could get away with it.

Too nasty looking though. I could see him as Voldemort

No, didn't watch DrWho.

Will have to do so in future now DS is nearly 8 and has discovered him. Am very glad they've got someone more attractive than CE.
