I'd recommend starting with Great Expectations but personally I loved Take of Two Cities.

A Christmas Carol as it is short and well known, then Great Expectations, then Oliver Twist. After that you'll be hooked!!

hard times is probably the shortest, so a good starting point. Dickens' novels can be v.long indeed.

David copperfield I reckon.

But he gives good story in all his young-boy-in-a-pickle stories so Nicholas nickleby, Great expectations, those other ones I can't think of right now...

Or maybe Oliver Twist or Great Expectations.

Don't recommend Bleak House as the first.

CauliflowerSqueeze · 01/01/2017 18:10
