There are advantages to being in the trade, so to speak...just had an urgent e-mail from The Bookseller!

I am a mere amateur on this thread but I am pleased it is being released in time for my holidays and will certainly be pre-ordering

No doubt, Marina, that's why I keep wondering which shop it will be taking place at, so I can go queue up early!

I can't wait!

DH thinks I'm such a saddo.

DG, I know you're DG
I meant who's the other author you're into

DumbledoresGirl · 01/02/2007 13:00

Oh no, I find out everything here!

I am into another author at the moment - to the extent that I have been emailing him

FrogPrincess · 01/02/2007 12:58

dd will be staying up and getting her copy at midnight
thanks Marina

expatinscotland · 01/02/2007 12:58

Any way to figure out where she's going to be doing book signing on opening night?

She usually appears at midnight at one lucky shop and signs books for a while.

That would be COOL!

I'd queue up for that most definitely.

Although I did think that if anyone found out before The Bookseller it would be you DG

OMG I was just thinking about this this morning and wondering whether I would hear the news on Mumsnet!

Steward · 01/02/2007 12:55

I have just found that info out and atarted the same thread in chat

expatinscotland · 01/02/2007 12:54

I'm going to Waterstone's at midnight for my copy.

I've already got the day off the next day so I can spend the night reading.

Soapbox · 01/02/2007 12:53

Oh B88ger - we're in the US on holiday that week - do you think they'll launch it there at the same time???
