I thought maybe we should have a thread where if someone sees a kindle deal that they think is really good for a book they have read they could recommend here. That way we can pick up new book recommendations at cheaper prices and grow our to be read list

Thanks!!! Just downloaded the burning air. Been looking at it for a while. Is just not gotten around to reading it.

Pemba · 02/10/2016 06:33

Oh, actually they must have been listening to me, because today's Daily Deal is all 3 Bridget Jones books for 99p each! I already have them (well couldn't get through the last one, there's something very sad and disappointing in it, I expect you know what, thank goodness they went with a different story for the latest film).

Overall, they are a good laugh, though.

Pemba · 01/10/2016 19:46

Thanks jackie. I got 'A Suitable Boy' which I had borrowed from the library years ago but never managed to get to the end of - isn't it very long? (so extra good value!) - but I remember it was interesting so will try again.

I wonder why they don't always publicise good offers like this by making them 'Daily Deals' . The actual daily deals are often more obscure books.

bumpetybumpbumpbump · 01/10/2016 15:55

Thanks Jackie I got silver bay and the burning air today!
