Clarice Bean and Charlie and Lola can both raise a wintry smile still, even after being read for the 40th time.

Pruni - I too love 'Zagazoo' but unfortunately it's DS who has now developed the wintry smile after repeated reading and I'm having to give it a rest!

Judy Blume's Fudge books and Lois Lowry's Anastasias have always made me lol a lot.

mousiemousie · 14/11/2006 18:24

Just William. Comedy Genius.

NotAnOtter · 14/11/2006 18:27

Dr Xargles book of Earthletts. Absolutely hysterical, all three generations in stitches!

NorksBride · 14/11/2006 20:25

Ooh I'd forgotten Dr Xargle - Earthlets is the best but Earth Hounds is good too. Not so keen on the others though.

fubsy · 14/11/2006 21:13

Jacqueline Wilson makes me laugh in places, when she's not making me sob hysterically.

Agree so far with Dr Xargle, William, Nesbit.

kittywits · 15/11/2006 17:54
