I'm about a quarter of the way through this and struggling to get sucked in, does it get better? Or for those who loved it, tell me why. I really want to like it!

I gave up, couldn't see why it was worth perservering. Following to see if I gave up in error.

It does take off, its worth persisting.

My friend read it and did mention it took 150 pages before she was enjoying it...
