Dd1 and I love these books - didn't know they were so well-known!
In a similar vein, try Beware of Boys and Beware of Girls, picture books involving a much-harrassed wolf.

I LOVE those books, there's more than on you know
When I go back to visit my bibliophile parents that is one of the ones I will be secreting in my suitcase.

Beetroot · 07/09/2006 10:26

my dd looks like her too and she can act

Enid · 07/09/2006 10:24

dd1 looks like lucy in that film

she can't act though

katierocket · 07/09/2006 10:24

I think she needs to be 'wiser' than Lucy was. What about the girl that is slightly older than Lucy?

Beetroot · 07/09/2006 10:22

lucy in lion witch and wardrobe?

coderoo · 07/09/2006 10:22

Or Natalie Portman (again before she grew up). Think Leon not Star Wars.

coderoo · 07/09/2006 10:16

JackieNo · 07/09/2006 10:16

Katie Holmes?

Nah - just winding you up

katierocket · 07/09/2006 10:16

No not the Hermonine character in Harry Potter - too irritating.

katierocket · 07/09/2006 10:15

Tell you who would be really good for Polly but it's a bit late now as she;s grown up - Audrey Tautou from Amelie.

Enid · 07/09/2006 10:14

crap actress (as all of harry potter cast is except the ginger one)

foxinsocks · 07/09/2006 10:14

yes that one

JackieNo · 07/09/2006 10:14

good thought foxinsocks - she's pretty self-possessed, if that's the right word.

coderoo · 07/09/2006 10:13

havent seen harry potter
is she slightly knowing?

OP posts:
foxinsocks · 07/09/2006 10:13

yes def richard e grant - he'd be perfect

don't know about Polly - perhaps that irritating child from harry potter?
