GoT theories - Spoilers

Started this off the back of the chat thread, where we didn't want to disclose spoilers for those that have only watched the series.

What do you think happens?

Poor Jon Snow. Stabbed... to death? I think so, but Melisandra is at the wall. he'll be brought back. His vows to the watch ended since he died. I have a sneaky feeling he will be on the Iron throne due to his parentage.
(Rhaegar and Ned Starks sister (can't remember her name)

I really see Dany going the way of Mad King Aerys. I think someone will put an end to her the way Jaime did Aerys, possibly Tyrion. There is a lot of indication of the bond between the 2 brothers, i think both of them will be "kingslayers"

A big 'un - Eddard Stark, is he dead? I've heard theories that a faceless one took his place. Varys seems to be in control of a lot more than he appears (and he appears to be in control of a lot) I have a sneaking suspicion that these theories are right and he and Arya will meet up.

V V interested in the Jon Snow is Lyanna's son theory - the more I think about it the more it make sense. Espesh Baratheon propaganda bit - Lyanna is portrayed as so strong and willful, I can't believe she just let herself be carried off.

You know the whole "the dragon has three heads" thing? My pet theory is the Daenarys will ride Drogon, and Tyrion and Bran will ride the other two. I have absolutely nothing to back this up with, except the fact that Tyrion and Dany are about to meet, Tyrion know loads of dragon lore and always wanted to ride one. Also, the tree dude who's training Bran keeps saying stuff like "one day you will fly". Next part of my theory is the Bran will get too involved in being a dragon (like he does when he's inside Summer's mind) and will go off on one and burn everything.

Oooh interesting theory about Jeyne Westerling and that she'll be seen again in the series!

I bloody wish WOW even had a release date or some hint of when it might be ready! Have you read the chapters he's put out on his website?

Does anyone think the 'younger more beautiful queen' could be Jeyne Westerling?

GRRM confirmed she was not pregnant with Robb's baby, but that she would be seen again in the series. I would love it if everything went wrong for Cersei, and she then flees to Casterly Rock to be confronted by Jeyne, who has a sister so may qualify as a valonquar?

I definitely think Jon is the son of Lyanna and Rhaegar, but I also think that Lyanna loved Rhaegar rather than that he kidnapped her, etc. That's all Baratheon propaganda haha.

Never thought he was Eddards, but Eddard was so honourable he took the blame,even though it meant Cat was an even bigger bitch. And makes sense for Jon to take the throne.

I don't hate Cat, I think she just made poor decisions in certain situations, like most of the Stark family to be honest. Though her behaviour to Jon was vile Sad I love her as Lady Stoneheart, way more interesting, haha.

How is it possible to prefer Joff to Cat?! Grin

Meg I wanted them to fall in love too! In the show there were tiny glimmers of hope for them, which I thought was nice. But in the books... not so much.
Littlefinger is just gross, worrying how that storyline is going to end up... though he did get rid of Lysa for us so I guess he isn't all bad Wink

I know she was a bitch to our lovely Jon Snuuur, but I don't dislike her, saying that I don't dislike Cersei either.
Talking about a secret gay story line, has anyone seen the
Nedbert theory. . Lots of other interesting theories in there too.

the actor that plays Joffrey is amazing. GRRM has even written to him congratulating him! But then, I actually prefer Joffrey to Cat!

I think the actor that plays Joffrey is giving up acting after GoT, shame he plays the little git very well.

Lysa was bat shit insane. She's my favourite of the sisters. Which kind of shows the depths of my hatred for Cat.
