Luckily I've just checked my wish list on Amazon today and two books I've had on for ages have come down to 99p...

Perfect by Rachel Joyce

Life after life by Kate Atkinson

I haven't read either of these but have read good recommendations on here about them.

Lurleene thank you - I have wanted One Summer for ages now.

Lurleene · 05/01/2014 00:00

One last bargain for today-

One Summer by Bill Bryson is 99p on Kindle and Nook.

magimedi · 04/01/2014 16:00

Kindle is stuffed with bargains at the moment.

I suppose it's because of all the new Christmas Kindles.

The latest Ian Rankin (Saints of the Shadow Bible) is 99p

DH has just bought the latest Michael Connelly & a Carl Hiassen.

Lots of the Booker listed books at 99p - too many to list but well worth a browse.

Lurleene · 04/01/2014 14:08

The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton is now 99p on both Kindle and Nook.

Lots of bargains today!

ophiotaurus · 04/01/2014 13:52

Thanks! Just bought
The Goldfinch (currently reading A Secret History as recommended here and love it)
Life After Life
Tangled Lives
Watch Over Me
That's me sorted for a while!

Lurleene · 04/01/2014 13:37

The kindle version of The Goldfinch is 99p on Amazon now.

I have picked up a couple of eBook bargains this morning from the Nook UK site ( ie ePub, not Kindle). I have been watching these in the hope they would come down and they did.

Love, Nina by Nina Stibbe

and
The Lives of Stella Bain by Anita Shreve

These were both 99p.

If anyone would prefer me to start a thread for non-Kindle eBooks please let me know and I will post any finds on there instead.

BabeRuthless · 27/12/2013 12:00

MadAddam by Margaret Atwood has gone down to 99p, know there's a few fans of hers on here. Without sounding like too much of a Scrooge and I do love a bargain as much as the next person, I can't help but think amazon shoot themselves in the foot sometimes. Doctor Sleep is 4.99 and I really want it but at the back of my mind is the lingering doubt that it'll go down by a couple of pound more at some point. All this price cutting does devalue books I think. God knows how Waterstones survives.

I got a kindle for Christmas after my last one broke in August, so watching this thread excitedly

RabbitPies · 27/12/2013 11:11

Thank you Cote. Just bought The Epigenetics Revolution.

Lurleene · 27/12/2013 09:52

Morrissey's autobiography has just gone down to £1.99.

Beechview · 21/12/2013 17:09

Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn is £1.49 Bridget Jones Mad About the Boy is £1.99. I'm thinking about whether to buy that one or not. I think most people find it disappointing. Sorry about lack of paragraphs - my return key is not working!

CoteDAzur · 21/12/2013 12:21

Just realised that The Epigenetics Revolution is £0.99, if anyone is interested.

Kasterborous · 21/12/2013 11:55

Thanks Prawntoast just got the new Rebus one for my Mum, as she likes them. We share my kindle account so we can both read all the books I buy or ones my Mum wants to buy.

CoteDAzur · 21/12/2013 11:28

What do we think about The Passage by Justin Cronin? I vaguely remember reading about it on here.

Prawntoast · 21/12/2013 09:21

For DC with Kindles, all Lemony Snicket on the daily deal today.

katb1973 · 21/12/2013 05:03

Another tip....AM Homes on special for 99p for some of her books. Love her too! X

Bubblegoose · 21/12/2013 00:13

OOh, thanks katb. The Little Friend is one of the most amazing books I've read, am really keen to read Goldfinch.

DuchessofMalfi · 20/12/2013 12:57

I bought The Goldfinch - love Donna Tartt's novels, and hope this one's as good. Also bought the Bridget Jones one, just hope it doesn't disappoint because it's so long since I read the first two.

Daren't go to Amazon now in case I find more books I want :o

Prawntoast · 20/12/2013 09:43

Latest Rebus novel is also 2.99.

Lurleene · 20/12/2013 09:30

Lots of price drops today including David Mitchell's autobiography, Cuckoo's Calling, Inferno, new Bridget Jones, all at 1.99. Sarah's Key is 99p too.

ButThereAgain · 20/12/2013 08:10

Thank you katb! I've never run so quickly from one website to another. I've been waiting for Goldfinch to come down.

Rather stupidly I decided to buy The Little Friend too even though I already have it on the old mashed-up trees format.

highlandcoo · 20/12/2013 08:00

The Goldfinch and The Little Friend by Donna Tartt are now £1.99 and £1.89 respectively

Thank you katb! I'm going to give The Little Friend a miss as I still remember DH spending a whole holiday ploughing through it and complaining constantly how dull it was. Not that he is always right about books, but it has put me off tbh.

Have rushed to buy The Goldfinch as I've heard only great things about it Smile

Coveredinweetabix · 20/12/2013 01:42

Does anyone know what happens if you buy a book and then cancel the download? I did that today and now can't find the book to re-download it. Is there any hope?
Thanks

katb1973 · 20/12/2013 01:36

The Goldfinch and The Little Friend by Donna Tartt are now £1.99 and £1.89 respectively. Been waiting ages for the first to go down!

DuchessofMalfi · 14/12/2013 08:41

Becoming Johnny Vegas currently £1.99. I love a good autobiography, and am fascinated by how people have made a career of being comedians, so had to buy this one.
