What Stephen King should I read?

OK so I'm not a huge fan of gory horror, but do enjoy psychological thrills/chills. I've read Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption and enjoyed it. I've also read On Writing, another good read. So what would fans recommend I chose next??

My all time favourite is The Stand,but I also love Rose Madder,so brilliant.
Needful Things,Christine & The Tommyknockers are all great too!!

My favourites are Salem's Lot, Pet Sematary and The Shining. All good spooky reads!

I'm half way through It and have been reading it for fucking ages, it's bloody massive

Can't wait to read Doctor Sleep when it is avail in paperback!

My favourites are the Stand, the Shining, Salem's Lot, Misery and Cujo.

Rose Madder, Lisey's Story, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, Duma Key, The Shining, Insomnia, IT, Bag of Bones.

I've aways liked Four Past Midnight as far as collections go as well.

I haven't read many of the more recent ones, though I've just borrowed Doctor Sleep from the library, but I enjoyed many of the early ones - The Shining, Carrie, Christine, Cujo. However, Salem's Lot has got to be the absolute, most frightening, terrifying book I have ever read - I wouldn't read it after dark or if I was in the house on my own (I was about 20 when I read it). It was very good though!

The shining, rose madder, insomnia and Dolores claibourne are all good and not what I would call gory.

Im halfway through under the dome and enjoying that. I also enjoyed his short story collections.

If you get the stand.. try and get the full version.. there's loads of bits missing out of the newer reprints.
