Book swap

I am thinking that we should do a book swap. You send a book to someone who sends a book to someone and so on. It doesn't matter if you didn't like the book, the next one might please you.

Any takers???????????????????????

I am a fan of Harlan Coben, Denise Ryan and Marian Keyes, Stuart Macbride.

don't know how, but i missed this thread,(can only get access certain days & times!) is there any chance of a 'waiting list' to join in if someone drops out.

don't you just hate people who wait until it's too late, then try to join in anyway Grin. tell me to butt out if you want.

peachyClair · 24/05/2006 09:12

Tis me- should be here today for my holiday then Grin

excellent timing and thank you!

frodofitz · 24/05/2006 09:08

Not sure who i am posting mine to (username) but it went to Gwent yesterday..is that you peachy?

peachyClair · 24/05/2006 08:32

posting mine in a minute, but wanted to explain something....

I had a choice of two books, one quite expensive and one with 99p plastered over the cover. I opted for the 99p, because it is (IMO) a far superior book, esp. in term of novelty, and because its a new author (which is why the 99p- bought it at an Ottakars new author launch day).

Please don't think i'm stingy, its just it made me PMSL reading this book, and I really wanted to share it, having a DH who only reads manuals.

katyrocks · 23/05/2006 22:04

PanicPants · 23/05/2006 16:56

Have posted my book this afternoon so you might get it tomorrow!

kipper22 · 23/05/2006 16:12

I have to apologise! I was all ready to wrap and send the book I had mentioned to UCM when I spotted a different one hiding behind it. Got to thinking and realised I couldn't remember much of what went on in the fist book and wasn't even sure I had enjoyed it that much. The other book, however, I loved. It's one by Mike Gayle, who I have mentioned here a few times and an author I think more people should be aware of! Needless to say, I've just posted that one instead. Now I'm feeling guilty though, as UCM has worked hard to co-ordinate all of this and I just know that somebody else will have sent the same book. Sorry sorry sorry if I've mucked things up. If not though, it is a great read! Wink

fullmoonfiend · 23/05/2006 08:35

phew - or no book for me [sob]

katyrocks · 23/05/2006 06:42
