see I thought that they laughed at sansa when she wanted to marry Loras because he is in the kingsguard and therefore can't marry. I must have missed all the hints about he and Renly, i'm crap with hints Grin

Im back to old name!!

Im having my wisdom teeth pulled out, under GA. its my fecking birthday on saturday too. I am displeased. I have a condition called Teitzes (a rare form of it) where the cartilidge connecting my ribs to my sternum and spine swells up and pushes the rib out of joint. it kind of creates a lump and is excruciatingly painful. also affects shoulders and neck.

that website is great though, I lose track of the characters and it helps me join the dots. the Renly/Loras thing is clearer in the series. although when Sansa istalking to the Tyrells she asks if she can marry Loras, and is told that its not possible, it wouldnt work.

teeth removed? eeek! my worst nightmare is having injections in the mouth. I need two fillings and a wisdom tooth removed and I've been putting it off in the hope that they find a way to do dentistry without injections in the gum.

what happened to your ribs?

I'm up to the bit where they reach vaes dothrak so viserys will have his golden crown soon...

so do we think jon is lyannas son? because his black hair throws me... also, I'm not good with theorys because after a time I always forget what they are. Blush

Morning! I am re-reading from the beginning too, and watching s1 (I recorded it over xmas) I am getting them on my kindle, slowly but surely Grin just read the bit in GoT where old nan tells bran about the long night and the last hero. I think that its something to do with jon. Or maybe I'm clutching at straws Grin

I'm not too bad thanks, freaking out about having teeth removed and have had poorly ribs, but other than that... How are you?

Yes, it is known. I often see Targaryens in town.

When I go to the shops I sometimes see a parked car with the reg Dav0s or something. I think it says Davos anyway Grin

Jorah is a bit smooth, isn't he?

DH and I were wondering where we might put Johnny Depp once but can't remember which character we decided on.

I think firth is too "nice" for stannis.

I have no affection for stannis but cant see him as a baddy.
I think he is doing what he thinks is best. He seems to be a very loyal and just man. But very easily lead I fear.

I think the casting for the show was very very good. The only one I thought difficult to see as. The character in my head was jorah mormont. He was too smooth and good looking.

Is it very bad that I finally watched the final madterchef last night and I couldn't help thinking the girl in it just had to have been a targeryan.

I am going to watch it with DD (11 going on 20) tomorrow and point out shite choices regarding men.

The Colin Firth / Hugh Grant "fight" scenes really remind me of Renly and Stannis!

Hello!

I was mourning this thread today.

But Bridget Jones is on and I am thinking, "Hmm - Colin Firth as Stannis"

He is definitely buttoned-up enough but has something about him...

I don't really like Stannis but I forgive him for the line, "only Renly could vex me so with a piece of fruit" Grin
