So that's it then, enough to get started. Anybody have any pet hates? Old books better than brand new ones. Realistically, despite best intentions, you are unlikely ever to see your book again...

I think suggestion up thread is for it to be a book you don't mind not seeing again- so if a dog eared all time favourite would have you in tears at losing it - I have at least a shelf full of those! - dont send it.

I choose a book, send it to someone and then each book that comes to me I send on to the next person after a month, have I understood how it works?

Oh, I never received that one Grin, though I did read it for my RL book group & it is excellent. So we must've been pg at the same time, my ds2 is 2 and a half, 3 in Dec

I feel heavily nostalgic for those days as DS3 was but an embryo - I had just started reading again then he came along... He's now two-and-a-half hence I think I might just be able to get through a book a month again.

That's fighting talk, tillyfernackerpants! I was part of a book circle about three years ago - read some great books but it fell apart about halfway through. I had a few really enjoyable reads but I never saw my book again.

Were you there? Did you have another name?

I'd like to join. I did use to be part of one but it continually failed, I think we tried it on 3 separate occasions!!

In fact, swampster, I can't help thinking you were part of that one, I don't know why!
