countdown to Jilly!!!

after reading Caitlin Morans interview with Jilly Cooper at the weekend - I am throughly overexicted and can't wait for Thursday.

Anyone else planning to start reading on thurs?

I've just ordered it online (waterstones £8.99, free delivery 5% back with quidco (can you tell I'm a bit pleased?)) but now thinking maybe I should have coughed up for delivery, not sure i want to wait.

Gah!!! I still havn't started it - bloody real life interfering with stuff like work and children.

Have we had any Jilly classics yet? have any joyous otters been mentioned??? these details I must know and surely they dont count as spoliers?

Kindle for iPhone isn't ideal I agree, but I hate reading hardbacks so it's better than that.

Is anyone else finding the lack of romps in the new book disturbing?

FFS, I expected raunch!

Has anyone started reading yet, or have children had some expectation of being looked after Grin. Im about halfway through, and dont want to spoil it for others although Im desperate to share my views!

Just downloaded to my iPhone. It had better be back to the old form, that school one was awful drivel. (Obviously Riders and Rivals were drivel too, but engrossing drivel. Wink)

OMG Flora!! I am so sorry, that is awful news. If it will make you feel better, I don't think i will have a chance to start it until tomorrow night (although I have had a sneaky peak at the characters pages).

After much battle with book staff who do not understand the importance of the new jilly. I've downloaded it onto my iPhone with a kindle app, just FYI for those who have iPhones. Happy Reading people! Love the new name flora Wink

Have been thinking far too much about the book today and every time I walk upstairs I am greeted by the sight of some Jilly books on the bookshelf when then just starts me off again.

have just had a cunning thought - do you think 24 hour supermarkets will put it on the shelfs after midnight...

Have been having flashbacks to when i first read Riders - it was the same year as a royal wedding but can't remember which.

Ok didn't really take me over 3 hours to work out how to name change.

Going to head down to local bookshop first thing to try and nab a copy - failing that will have to bedisloyal and pop to Tesco
