@Moon22 Dd decided she wanted to start a new game on Dreamlight...deleted the lot! Perhaps they should have made that a bit more difficult to do!

I think DV has more going on but I prefer the graphics and general vibe of AC. Also miss having visitors on DV!
I think it's a bit too big for me.. the idea of decorating the whole valley seems quite daunting!- and I'm not overwhelmed with the shop/clothing available yet. I like the recipes and cooked meals though.
In hindsight, I wish I hadn't purchased the deluxe version.. I can't imagine it's too different than the basic one and was very expensive!
I am persevering with my quests though, get those done and see if I can enjoy doing my decorating then!

DV looks interesting but I'm not a fan of downloadable games

I'm still playing ACNH - trying to complete the DIYs

I am playing dreamlight valley. I prefer animal crossing overall and will go back to it one day- possibly do a whole reset.
DV is like the sims, but with disney characters! You farm, fish, go to the shop, do challenges so very similar to AC but a very different vibe.
DV is going to be free eventually, not sure when, next year I think.

I don't really play anymore as I've nearly done all the nook challenges, just a few seasonal ones left. Maybe one day I will reset it and start again.

Whats dreamlight about?

The other suggestion I saw on Reddit was to get rid of all the flowers etc when on your nook miles island so other bugs can't spawn

Mostly palm trees but a couple of just ‘trees’ I have been going on a nook miles tour but didn’t think of chopping the other trees down. I’ll give that a go, thank you.

Hî, does anyone have any bug catching tips? I only have 8 left to catch and 6 of them are ones that appear on trees at night time. I have spent weeks now trying to find them with no luck! I’ve got all the fish and all the sea creatures so it’s just the bugs eluding me 🤣

Hi everyone, I’ve been playing on and off since Christmas and am still in need of apples and oranges. Would anyone be able to share? I have peaches, pears and cherries, coconuts and I think all the veg except white pumpkins. Thanks!

Got caught up at work and was later off than planned! I am around tomorrow day/evening if that works?

Although typically, Leif had sugarcane today! Obviously happy to return any favours, however I can (new to the whole travelling to people's islands though!)

Hello all!

My island is a total mess - just wondering if anyone can help me out with finding apples and sugar cane? They seem to be eternally elusive and other than island hopping via Kapp'n or using dodo miles to fly further afield, I'm not too sure how to find them! Leif never seems to have the sugar cane either, although I did complete my rainbow of pumpkins thanks to a tip on here of not knowing what colour you get feom Leif until they're planted!

Also - can anyone tell me if I am missing anything else, other than apples and sugarcane?
I have:

  • oranges
  • peaches
  • pears
  • cherrys
  • carrots
  • potatoes
  • tomatoes
  • wheat
  • yellow pumpkins
  • green pumpkins
  • white pumpkins
  • orange pumpkins

Is anyone on today?
Ive just picked up the game again for first time in a few months! Was fed up and kept saying I'd restart the whole thing!- but I'm so invested in my island, I'll just persevere with it! If anyone wants to visit/have a visitor later, give me a shout!
