I find the app quicker to type on but the app doesn't show other players messages

@BubblegumLife i just type on the switch, which is very annoying! I'm sure the app much better for actual chatting!

Moon22 - apologies as I've only just seen your message. Thank you for the offer. We're cracking right on now.. We have all our islanders and going for the 3 star rating to unlock KK.

When you're all chatting on each others islands are you typing from the switch or using the phone app??

@Winterfellismyhome aw thank you, she came running downstairs to tell me she had figured out how to talk. I then had to remind her not to talk everyone's socks off (she loves to chat). Thanks for the slingshot, much appreciated.

Are you all enjoying the firework event? The custom firework option is a nice touch, and it looks like it will be every Sunday in August so plenty of time to perfect a drawing to go up in the sky
The fireworks are great and Isabelle gives you an item when you talk to her on other islands

Also lots of stuff on the beach that's going spare.

I have been playing for a little while and I only have oranges, apples and coconuts. Can someone please tell me how I get the other fruits as I haven't found them on the islands I can travel to. If you can, thank you.

Does anyone have a code this evening? We need a slingshot too, but in general my daughter wants to nosey around someone's island. We've not learned how to talk to people.

We seem to have had loads of balloons this morning. But no slingshot as we've just restarted Hmm
On the plus side.. There are too many characters in 'river island' which is what my 10 year old wanted to name the island (after her fave shop)
She got her way with naming the character Ariana though.

Has anybody else had an usual amount of balloon gifts passing this morning? I've shot down 4, 3 of which contained clay! Normally I only get 1or 2 a day!
I keep toying with the idea of restarting my island.. but i think i might just try moving my villager houses around or something! Moving my bridges etc, just try an do it up, bit at a time.
