I was also wondering if we used the same nintendo account on both switches (and assuming we had two towns) if it would stop us from trading between our towns.

If you use the same account you can still trade between switches but via local play not online play

Omg, just went for a random dream town visit and was met with Maple calling me a 'fat slag'.

The player character also says 'do one!'
