Ooh that will be my new thing! I'm glad I knew though I think I'd have been a bit shocked to turn up and find tarantulas shudder.

I tried to spawn a tarantula island, did it on the bamboo island which is supposed to work for it but after two hours of waiting and chasing away tiger beetles and wharf roaches I gave up.

@TryingNotToPanicOverCovid it's one of the mystery island you can travel to using a nook miles ticket. Tarantula island is only available after 7pm and its pot luck if you get to it. We've been extremely lucky and been there twice this last week.
Apparently you can spawn tarantulas on other mystery islands as long as they are flat ( no high cliffs )and after 7pm and you clear the island of all weeds trees including stumps and other bugs, you need to pick all the flowers ( but not dig them up ) then hopefully they'll spawn. I'm hoping to try it out to see if it works as you get 8000 bells per tarantula Smile

I think I saw a tarantula once on my island but it was only a brief glimpse and might just have been a tiger beetle viewed at an odd angle as it was running away
I had a tarantula run up and then I fainted!! I had my net in my hand as well just wasnt quick enough. It was near dds house - she then paid tom nook to move it! Grin Hi everyone new to the thread and fairly new to animal crossing

ooh is it only £6..... I think I must have looked at an annual family pass but thinking about it it is just me that needs it... for my island :D

My turnips are 46 now 😬. I cant buy the internet pass just to get turnips can I!?....
It's only 6 quid something for three months. I think it's totally worth it.

But I am the woman who has just bought a brand new switch lite just to have my own island.

I'm currently trying to help dd's friend set up her island which is painful thanks to lockdown and crappy internet connections !
Honestly driving me bonkers as they are trying to FT one another and I'm being asked a gazillion questions 😂
Thank god it's Friday.
Turnips are 54 this morning which is rubbish so glad I sold earlier although gutted I didn't wait to see others prices.
We got onto tarantula island last night so willingly chucked all tools to bag 39 of the freaky spiders.

I've spent the last fortnight moving a building every day. Today I've chosen the new site for the camp and tomorrow it'll all be done. Then it's just a total redesign of the rest of the island...
I've finished moving all my buildings but I can't figure out what to do with the rest of my island, moving trees is such a hassle as well.

Turnips are 459 for me today - annoying as I sold for 168 yesterday, if anyone wants to visit here's a dodo code 76GM7, I'll leave the gate open for a while but may not be 'around' feel free to visit Nooks Cranny!

There's some fruit and a few diys on the beach.
