I just visited with my morning coffee @bookworm14, love the name of your island! I also really like your little shopping plaza and the apple orchard oh and the campsite, that’s a great idea. Is yours the bigger house? I play with my two sons, we bought the switch for them...yet somehow I’m the one who has played enough to have expanded their house the most...

Hehe! Yes, I have most of the mermaid items, even though wouldn't normally be to my taste. I like the sofa best, I use it to sit and watch daytime TV when I'm taking a 'real life' break 😹
Aww, I had Gulliver today, he's funny but I prefer Gullivarr! Ooh, that's a good idea, my museum has dinosaurs and fossils either side but then a tonne of flowers in the rest of that area. I literally have collectibles everywhere, inside and out, probably my top mission to get them all. That and complete the museum. Although gonna take at least another 9 months!

I have various dinosaurs on my top level but they look a bit random so been trying to think how to make that area look better 🤔

I love pascal! Every day I have to hunt a scallop so I can see him, I have all the mermaid stuff he gives you in the main room of my house 😅
Flick was at our island today, I like Flick and I am on a mission to get a load of his collectibles (they are going to line the path to the museum) but he does waffle on a bit 🤪 I like it when Leif comes as I want to try and get all the different plants. We’ve only had the switch a month so think we’re a bit behind you guys!!
I love the idea of pirate tiki cove! I might pinch that idea. I’ve already copied a dinosaur dig site from someone else on this thread ☺️

I like the mushrooms too, I’ve made a little mushroom themed music festival area in the woods. I have a dream code now, but ds has banned me from sharing it until he has got the upstairs on his house and customised the outside 🙄😬 I may have to play as him for a few days to pay off his debt as he’ll take forever.

Hi! Can I join in please?! I've been playing most days since July 😳 Just a tad obsessed! I really miss all the beetles but absolutely loved halloween and am enjoying picking mushrooms! Disappearing of ever getting a tarantula so am thinking I'll need to try for visiting a tarantula Island as I'm assuming that's a thing?! So far I've had 2 jump out and bite me and that's all 😹

Oh he sounds fun, I need to get some of my villagers to leave so I can get some fresh blood. Although one of mine did suggest leaving and I didn’t have the heart to agree with them 🤦🏻‍♀️

So apparently my island has too many trees 🙄 I actually like it being rustic and unspoiled plus I need the coins from the fruit. I can't seem to get above 3 stars unless I start slapping decorations everywhere. It's a conundrum.

We were in the process of inviting him to our island via an amiibo card, I messed up and sold the land too early and now a snooty sheep has gone and bought up the plot 🤦🏻‍♀️ Although now I’ve seen your flamingo I want her to move in! Think we might ignore the sheep and hope she jogs on

I got the game for my kids but it’s very quickly become my island! I loved it for weeks but I’ve lost interest recently, just got a bit bored. I’d love to get back into it. I got 5 star rating and just felt like I’d done it all. Hopefully there will be some new stuff happening for winter!

So I caught a coelacanth last night! It's supposed to be quite rare I gave it to Blathers grudgingly as I think it's worth a lot of bells 😁

I love my basement I've made a sort of occult shrine to Halloween Jack. It's awesome 😁😁😁

Thanks for the tip @DuzzyFuck you’d think Tom would warn you about the limit when you start building. He’s such a dodgy scammer. It may be a pain but the entrance to your house does look amazing! My boys had a look round your island today, the games room was a big hit!

I've got no intention of paying Tom Nook for my basement, what's he going to do about it?

A note to those starting their inclines and bridges; I didn't realise there's a maximum amount you can have (8 when it comes to inclines). I made myself grand entrances to my house and museum each using 2 sets of stairs and have scuppered myself for the rest of my island unless I redesign

@squiz81 I think at this stage you can pretty much stop paying Tom Nook off for house stuff. I'll only be buying inclines after this!
