@MiddleClassProblem Whenever you open the app it shows you what's available to catch right then, based on time of year and time of day, and you can tick off what you've caught and/or donated to the museum.

Oooooh! Are you able to sort it or does I show what’s available now? I’ve got lists but you have to scroll through them alphabetically so you don’t know which are relevant now without checking the whole list iyswim

@MiddleClassProblem I think you need 2 switches to play 2 players at the same time Confused

For tracking your creatures there's a great app called ACNH.GUIDE that tells you what's available to catch when, how to grow hybrid flowers, a check list for your daily bits to do, and a turnip price predictor Grin

I’m in! My island is getting overgrown with flowers at an alarming rate and I’ve done barely any construction but would love to see others’ islands. PM if you like x

Does anyone know how to play 2 player? DD has set up a tent on my island. She’s 5 so I have to do a lot of the reading for her so it has become my game more than hers (mwahaha). But I’m not sure if we are able to play at the same time using two sets of controllers or if you can only play with two players if they have separate consoles...

Also, I’m losing my mojo atm so hoping this might spark it. I also might do myself a nerdy spread sheet for creatures so I know when and where to look for ones I haven’t got yet. 🤓

I’ve lost my mojo with it a bit - I haven’t done nearly enough halloween prep!

We tried the fencing in trick to get rid of a character- we also never ever talk to him. he is still there though.

Hello! Yes please can I join? DP bought me a Switch and AC at the start of lockdown, I still play almost daily but I've never had a visitor or visited anyone's island (except dream islands). I've lost my mojo for it a bit now, need to be inspired again! Smile

I’ve only been sharing with him a night and I’ve already got in trouble. I sold an old boot that he fished and left laying around and now he needs it to craft something. Which led to a conversation about him needing to put things away if they’re important and him replying with he didn’t know I was going to go cleaning everywhere......this is starting to mirror real life in a very accurate way 🤣🤣

So after getting sick of a particular villager, I watched a YouTube video about how to get rid of them. Lots of tips and tricks, one of the ways was to build a fence around their house and trap them in it so they become unhappy and go.

I got so fed up that I spend £3 on an amibo card from eBay, three days later of inviting said villager to the campsite the hateful gorilla was gone!

@BlueCookieMonster sadly it seems no matter what naughty tricks we try, islanders just won’t move out when we really want them too! I have a pink tiger I am desperately trying to hoof out but she just won’t go!!!

For those of you “sharing” with your DC, you can add a second player to the island which means you get your own house. You need to set it up on the switch account settings first, then it should give you the option to start the game as either player.

@Eminybob you can try sending the other islanders a postcard from the airport and attach a fruit - sometimes they send you something new back.
If you want bamboo shoots with travelling, the buy turnips on Sunday mornings and she posts you some bamboo shoots the following day

Is there a way of getting any other fruit if you’re not on line?
When I go to islands with my nook ticket I only ever get my own fruit (peaches) or coconuts.

I made the mistake of putting my 6 yo DS as first player, so I haven’t been able to properly create my island. Now that he has the island designer app he’s made a right bloody mess of the place! Grin

My house is beautiful though, if I do say so myself. I’m especially pleased with my kitchen.

We aren’t on line. Got the 7 day free trial, realised we don’t know anyone else with the game and so cancelled it.

You only need tickets to go to mystery islands, nor other peoples. You can visit other peoples Islands without tickets.

Google turnip exchange you can register and visit other islands i might open my island up over the weekend I have spare recipes all over my beach
