Stardew Valley

I've been playing this quite excessively on my Switch and just had to start a thread to say how much I love this.

I'm at the start if Autumn in year 2 and I'm going to get married soon! I'm also about to unlock ducks and I've got various tree tapping going on and it's just so much fun!

Anyone else love this game?

I'm not a gaming person, but really like Stardew Valley!
I wish I had more time to play it. Can easily lose hours. I'm in the summer of Year 5 at the moment.

I had no idea about how valuable the ancient fruits were! I have a few in my greenhouse. I will convert most of the plots to grow them and then brew it in my cellar. Thanks for that useful nugget of info!

I also like to grow coffee beans and cook up some triple espresso. It helps me get stuff done around the farm more quickly. And I love galloping everywhere on my horse.

I refuse to get married. I did invite Linus to come live with me because I felt sorry for him, but he refused and seems happy with his life in the outdoors. I feel really bad that he is always left out during all the different festivals and events, even though it's only a game. 😆

Love Stardew Valley! Have it for PC, Switch and been playing it on mobile recently just because it's easy.

Married Shane in my last two games but I'm playing as a man this time and can't decide between Haley, Penny or Alex!!

stardew valley is epic i like the final boss fight the shooting mechanisms are very good and the immersion is great

Stardew is amazing! I’ve lost the amount of games and hours I have spent on it!
Have you watched dangerouslyfunny on YouTube he has amazing tips tricks and just some funny videos!
First time I married Shane for the blue chickens this time I haven’t married I’m building all relationships up and then will decide!

I just won with my Grange display and managed to double my winnings in that Orange/Green wheel thing! Feeling all proud of myself. Of course immediately spunked it all on a Stardrop

Just found out one of the teachers at DDs school is a big fan so we had a lovely chat this morning when the doors opened! She is extremely cool though - she does the most amazing pictures of Link from Zelda and is both my DCs absolute favourite!

Oh my God. I love this game. In one game I was married to elliot but he spends far too much if his time staring out to sea.

In the game I am playing now, it's the 11th of winter, I've just got to the Calico desert (jojo mart, not community centre) I have a greenhouse full of cranberries apart from 10 ancient seed plants.
The long term goal, is to only grow ancient fruit and then put into kegs which I will keep in sheds and turn it into wine.
I have no animals apart from the dog, and I'm not currently pursuing anyone, why should I do all the chasing 🤔

Year 33!!!! Holy bloody hell - I am deeply impressed! I am guessing you don't age... or do you? What about the villagers - I mean shit, are George & Evelyn still kicking about?

I have diamonds in my gem creator thing, so plenty of those bad boys!

I expect it's the Community Centre.. like you, juney, got a few fish to get but also a couple of items for the notice board one.

Don't forget to check travelling cart. To retrigger grandfather you can put a diamond on the alter.

Oooh I've got 3 candles too! On the link that @darkriver19886 shared, if you go to "grandpa's evaluation" it says it's linked to a points system and you need 11+ to reach 4 stars.

I haven't yet completed the community centre (some fish eluding me!)

I've only got 3 candles lit at the moment.. not sure what I have to do to trigger the 4th but I'm sure I'll get there (presume it might be something to do with getting all animals or raising a certain amount of g's?)

What grade did you get grandfather? If you lit 4 candles you will get a statue which will be very helpful.

I always get very carried away in Spring (look at me in Year 3!) and go so damn hard in the first few days that I'm watering bloody crops until about 4pm

Upgrading your watering can is essential although I'm only just now finding the occasional bit of Iridium Ore so may take me a while!

I have 12 pigs now all randomly generated names apart from one who is also called Peppa.

I ended up with a cow with the same name as me! all randomly generated
