PC gamers?

Anyone else a PC gamer?
I used to play a lot but with having a 7 week old I can no longer do that.
I'm looking for other parents to play games with as you're in the same boat as me with not being able to play a lot!

Just wanted to say hi and that I'm another PC gamer - well I was until my son arrived! I haven't yet found time to play but I hope to in the near future, maybe when he does reliable naps. I played Battlefield mostly, using Discord to speak to friends, I miss that so much. Love how many girl gamers there are here :)

FairyAnn · 15/10/2019 18:22

I play Dead by Daylight and Friday 13th if you fancy a game anytime ☺️ Got PUBG but don't play it much.

Anyone want to PM their steam ID, feel free! Always looking for more online friends 😁

BertieBotts · 15/10/2019 18:18

Infitine respec though? But yes I know what you mean. I don't pay enough games really to work that kind of thing out but DH does so he gave me pointers.

I couldn't get on with Divinity. If felt too much like there were builds which just don't work and you don't find out until you're 12 hours in and it's no longer fun

Knotaknitter · 11/10/2019 20:44

Wow here, just wow, I couldn't find the time for anything else.

I may have recently threatened the tank with the naughty step (there were actual steps there) during a guild raid much to everyone's delight.

MurderOfGoths · 11/10/2019 06:55

Divinity is excellent, though - for once - I kind of wish it had grindy areas, I got to a point where I couldn't go any further because I was being wiped out in a fight but there was nowhere to go to level up further and I couldn't go back to any previous areas

BertieBotts · 10/10/2019 21:30

Divinity is fantastic if you want something new to try. Either single player or with a friend/group (you can have up to four people playing at once) if you need to find a group to play with, try the reddit forum (if nobody here fancies it)

I am too antisocial to play that much except when DH gets me into it.

Danixnope · 10/10/2019 21:20

I love Ark a bit too much. I went a bit crazy with taming all the Dino's. Didn't have a base big enough and had to move it twice to a bigger location. That's a lot of fun moving 150+ Dino's across a map with everything trying to eat them.
Two point hospital is great! I still prefer Theme Hospital though. Used to spend hours on that when I was a kid. That and Pharaoh.

Ah I really wanted to like ark, i really wanted a parasaur! I loved the graphics, but I just wasn't keen on the end. I played a lot of hay day whilst I was breastfeeding

BertieBotts · 10/10/2019 20:40

DH plays Ark but I never got into it. I don't like MMOs either, I just find them really boring.

BertieBotts · 10/10/2019 20:37

You just need stuff you can play with only a mouse, then get baby latched on and go :)

We play online and use Discord to talk to our friends we're playing with. DH plays a lot more than me.

I found Civilisation (any) and Divinity: Original Sin 2 and Rimworld and Two Point Hospital are all good with just a mouse. But I am more of a single player gamer really.

genericusername333 · 10/10/2019 20:34

Ahaha I had to look that up Danixnope Blush I prefer rpgs/mmorpgs. I am guilty of using a controller with my pc for Skyrim etc :D I wish WoW would was free to play but that will probably never happen!

Danixnope · 10/10/2019 15:43

And ewww to growing up.

Danixnope · 10/10/2019 15:39

I've gone back to console haha I hate it though. I'm too old to learn controller again.
I'm struggling in RDR2 even with aim assist.
TF2 is something I've never played, from what I remember anyway!

OP posts:
DreadFull · 10/10/2019 14:54

Yes, you have to get the PC back out!

I used to be a console player, then stopped for 15 years or so. My teenager got me playing TF2 about 5 years ago, I totally forgot how much I love gaming.

I don't have any irl gamer friends anymore, they all grew up Grin

Danixnope · 10/10/2019 14:43

L4D is a lot of fun. My aim is shocking but I don't really care!
I'm not currently playing on PC at the moment as I packed it away when I was half way through my pregnancy. Will be getting it back out shortly though I think.
I used to play a lot of PUBG, Rust, Ark and Rocket League.

OP posts:
UrghJustUrgh · 10/10/2019 14:08

WoW here.

DreadFull · 10/10/2019 14:02

I'm another PC gamer. I mostly play TF2, played competitive for a bit which was great fun. I'm most definitely one of the older players, and can easily put in a 30 hour week sometimes.
I also play left4dead, but I'm the worst aim ever!

IWouldPreferNotTo · 10/10/2019 13:57

100%.

Currently playing Borderlands 2 after picking it up cheap but also the have following in current gaming rotation

  • Star Traders
  • Stardew Valley
  • Dirt Rally 2
  • Europa Universalis 4
Danixnope · 10/10/2019 13:54

Yeah it took me a while to get in to it if I'm honest. Wasn't really my type of game but a few friends were going a bit crazy on it so I gave it a go.

OP posts:
MurderOfGoths · 10/10/2019 13:20

I could never get into WoW, I tried but it just didn't catch my attention.
