Oh and Nico you said you were using lots of potions, I follow some youtubers Pokemon ones and they let you put your code in the comments. Iv 180 friends and that’s how I get the majority of my eggs & potionsZ

Yeah it sounds like if you didn't take the gym it probably wouldn't change hands much Nico so you might be stuck in it for days not getting coins, on top of having spent 1000 to change

am I right in thinking that you'd only get coins when someone either kicks you out or your mon runs out of energy which can take a few days? And that the max you'd get is 50 coins, so I might only get 50 coins even though I was in a gym for 3 days?

NicoAndTheNiners The only way your Pokemon leaves a gym is if someone physically battles it and kicks your Pokemon out.

It does not come out on its own through lack of motivation.

People have been known to stay in gyms for months, even over a year, if nobody else takes that gym. And no matter how long you’ve been in, the max you get a day is 50. And if you’ve hit that 50 and a Pokemon comes out of a gym it’s been in a year, you get nothing.

I'd stay yellow. You might get some defections from blue players sick of finding gyms full.

I'd stay yellow if i were you @NicoAndTheNiners, the blues probably like that you chuck them out so that they can get the poke coins too!
@mumpops @catontherun @knittingmamma can we coordinegg tomorrow, say around 7.30-8 or is that too early? Alternatively I've found it works if you put an egg on if you do it immediately as you login if that's too early.

I need advice about whether or not to change team?

Currently instinct. Everyone else in my village seems to be blue. I live next door to a gym and can hit it from my bed! I take it every morning and the blues take it back.

I generally get 50 coins a day but use up a lot of revives and potions. So my initial thought is that being blue would be better.

But I've never seen the gym be taken by the red team. A handful of times another yellow person has joined me. But very sporadic.
