Don't evolve the shiny shuppets!
I got one on Saturday, immediately powered her up to a banette and was disappointed with the result. The shuppets are way cooler!

I noticed that some new stops were added but also just realised that a stop near me is gone. Sad It was a building that’s not there any more, it took a while for the Ingress players here to notice!

Niantic confirmed a couple of days ago that the research stays once you have it

"Hi Stephanie, don't worry! This Special Research is only available for a limited time but once you talk to Professor Willow and activate the Special Research, you can complete it at your own pace. Good luck! ^KM"

@TimberTot the IV of a Pokémon can't change unless you trade it - sometimes it gets worse and sometimes it gets much better! I will traded with bestie and her 70 IV shuppet arrived at 52 IV at my account but her 70 IV groudon reached me at 96 IV Grin

Tangela looks more like a ball of wool to me, so is called K1P1, pronounced Kipi. (Knit 1, Purl 1).
Ziggy Stardust is of course a zangoose.
Bad Hair Day is a skuntank, and Malteser Head is a gloom.

We can’t know that for certain. I hope it does but I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t due to Niantic specifically saying it’s limited time and not mentioning this with any of the other special research quests.

As long as you have started the task, it will be available to complete after the event is over.

I also saw that as long as you're onto part 2 of the task it'll stay. I've got spirit tomb though it's just the new stops I'm stuck on so not the end of the world if the task vanishes as I've got the 'mon

@IncyWincyGrownUp I believe it’s been confirmed that as long as you start the research task, you can finish it any time. It only won’t be available for people who haven’t started it when the event ends.
