That's pretty good! Smile I've caught just under 9000 mostly in the past six months but then I live on a gym in the middle of town so tons of spawns.

Yes it's 9.5 million to get to level 37 and then 10.5 million from there to level 49.

I'm 3.5 million into level 39 so just 1.5 million to go! To be fair it's so much easier now to get xp than it was. Friendship has made a massive difference. The really hardcore players all got to level 40 MONTHS ago, they must have put some serious hours (and miles!) in.

Highest on my list is nearly 100k. They are on level 40 though. I've caught 28k (level 38). I read somewhere that to get from level 37-40 is the same xp as getting from 0-37, which might explain the difference! Shock

MrsStressBall The highest on my friend list is 66130 Shock. It's a mumsnetter but I won't name them. I am lagging a long way behind on 21 613 which I think seems a lot as I never go out to play, just do it within my day. I wonder what the highest total in the whole world is?

Hello! I'm new to this thread and discussing Pokémon, but not new to the game - slowly grinding through and now halfway through Level 38.

Have you ever looked at how many Pokémon your contacts have caught? What's the highest?

DS got one of each, jammy sod! I got a ponyta and chucked her in a gym to show off - only she landed next to a alakazam and now you can't see her. GrinBlush

It is unknown how long the increased Ponyta and Cubone spawns will be around for. I’m still surrounded by them.

Shiny Ponyta and shiny Cubone will still be available in game though, so whenever you encounter one it has a chance to be shiny. It’s just their spawns will go back to normal at some point so it will be harder.

I've never caught a shiny outside of a community day or one of these boosted events. Bloody DD picked up a shiny murkrow today. Currently sulking.

My guess from my pokedex stats is that I checked 76 ponytas and none were shinies :(. Yes they have gone! Waaaah!

Hooray! Finally got my shiny Ponyta, which DS immediately evolved into Rapidash. Only had to catch 140 Ponyta’s to get it!

No shiny Cubone though, despite my having caught 50 so far. Boooooo!
