So is Ds2. I stacked 3 evolve 2 anorith tasks for him, today, so with pinapps, that's 20 scyther candy.

Not sure he has a metal coat, yet, mind.

Anyone know anything about the Harry Potter Wizards Unite that Niantic are bringing out next year? I saw an article on LinkedIn earlier today but couldn't click as I was at work.

pottypotamus Niantic. You only receive an ex-raid invitation if you check all the boxes (some of which are unknown), and even if you do, it’s not guaranteed.

An ex-raid is triggered if enough people raid at that ex-raid location. Anyone who did raid there during a certain (unknown) timeframe has a chance of receiving one. You have more of a chance if you are gold in the gym and if you have completed a high number of raids in general.

Your best chance of receiving one is to hit all the ex-raid gyms in your area (gyms now tell you if they are ex-raid gyms) at least once a week.

I'm in need of two raids. Typically when I need raids for a task there are none available at a convenient time when there usually are many. Happened again today. Managed to win two gym battles instead though. And caught the ditto thanks to the research task tip off.

DD is still waiting on hatching an egg. Her adventure sync is still not playing ball sadly. Sometimes gives it, sometimes doesn't. When it gives it then it often doesn't add to overall total though she gets egg and candy distance.

But I did the cheat for most of the 10 raids where you just enter the lobby of them rather than actually do the raid. As soon as you use a pass it counts it, so given the time at my disposal it was well worth it using some premium passes for me. You get 3 later so with my two free it took 5.

I also have the switch game so am hoping to make it to Fuschia City soon to get that meltan box.

Thanks @WhatToDoAboutWailmerGoneRogue and @trashpanda, I shelved another encounter that I wasn't interested in and you're right, I just get the Aerodactyl again and I can't bypass that to get to the other encounter. Good to know how it works though! I need to do two raids today now! how's everyone else getting through the Meltan tasks?

Sorry @MrsJamin I wasn't very clear It would be great if you could pick which one you catch though! Niantic said it's not a supported feature though so I can't see them changing it

MrsJamin No. It goes from the oldest to the newest, and if you run away from the first in the stack (the oldest), it will still be the exact same Pokemon (the oldest) when you next click on the stack.

You cannot bypass one to get to the other, you have to catch them in the order they are in the stack.

I think if they are stacked, they will always be oldest claimed first until you catch it. Aerodactyl is hatch 2 eggs.

Does anyone remember what the aerodactyl task was? I just got one and cursing myself for opening it before I needed it. You just know I won’t get another!

Chuffed that I've got my rhyperior this morning and caught a ditto from the excellent throw task. I've also got an aerodactyl in my stacked encounter pile from a research task yesterday. Does anyone know how it works if you have multiple saved encounters, let's say you put in there, in chronological order:

1. Aerodactyl
2. Magnemite
3. Chansey

Is there a way to know which level raids are happening at what time at certain gyms in advance?

pottypotamus No. The only raids scheduled in advance are “ex”-raids (for which you need an invitation) and raids when a particular raid day is on (like the recent Gengar day where every gym had a Gengar raid for three hours).

Otherwise, raids are just random. When an egg appears you know a raid will start at the end of the countdown and the level of raid to get an idea of what Pokemon may hatch, but that’s it.

If you were local I’d chuck you a spare Tallulah. I had more than this but I deleted one I think.
