DS has asked for one, but I can't get much sense out of him as to what it does etc.

I'm not much of a gamer, so if anyone could shed any light, that would be great.

It gives you different challenges although this time round there's a few you can do without it.

It allows you to get new skins dance moves etc but you don't need it to play the game.
