I love powering up a Snorlax too. It depends how much time I have. If I'm in a rush I'm not going to take on a fully powered Blissey / Snorlax etc gym.

@MrsJamin you can't earn them any other way you can only purchase them

Actually. While the actually defense of the gym isn't what it used to be, casual battlers DO tend to be put off trying to take a gym with a Snorlax, Blissey etc in it. AND you're also speaking from the position of being someone high level with a good range of well powered up attacking mons. Not "Anyone Can get through Snorlax easily" and equally not everyone does find that "Gyms aren't a struggle". There are still a lot of lower level players and also there are even more players who haven't levelled up a smart set of mons. So it is still worth it.

Plus personally I find that my gym battling notifications are on the slow side. Having a traditionally good strong defensive mon in the gym buys me more time to open it up and get berrying if it's a gym I want to keep.

I personally would recommend against powering up a Snorlax, even a 98% or 100% one.

Anyone can get through a Snorlax easily, even fully powered up, so it’s just not worth it and would be a waste of stardust.

Gym defense isn’t what it used to be. Gyms aren’t really a struggle to get through so it doesn’t matter so much what you put in there.

You also won’t be battling or attacking with a Snorlax, so it shouldn’t be powered up for those reasons either.

I doh't get a chance to open presents from everyone every day, as I have too many but I try to send as many as I can every day regardless.

Got my first Snorlax through the field research, but only 76% and 1399 CP so I hope I get a better one next week.

NoFucksImAQueen Have you set the full appraisal? Because if you haven’t it won’t be that accurate.

To set the full appraisal, after you’ve put the screenshot into the app (make sure you’ve given it your correct trainer level and team first), scroll down to this part (see attached picture) and add in all the information you have from the in game appraisal.

That will give you a more accurate appraisal

What times are the Articuno around?

SneakyGremlins It hasn’t been officially mentioned, but it’s theorised it will be the same as community day so 10am to 1pm.

They won’t be wild spawns though; they are legendary Pokemon after all. They’ll still be 5 star raids.

Well I’mo. My way back to the airport from my weekend in Holland and yesterday in Dortmund at the safari go fest. It was a bit of a shambles for the first 6 hours as i couldn’t log in at all. managed to log in at 17:20!! So stayed till9pm and got a decent amount of corsola, unown and best of all a shiny magicarp.

I got in the park fairly easily and didn’t have to queue too long but as i said most people couldn’t log in and there were a lot of very unhappy Pokemon players wandering around. There was even a woman screaming at a poor guy on the information stand and telling him to make it work!

If you’re blue/Mystic and it’s a wonder, or if you’re red/Valour and it’s simply amazes, or if you’re yellow/Instinct and it’s battle with the best of them, it’s between 82% and 100% and it has a chance of being good

For a more accurate appraise, download the app PokeGenie and use that to get an IV percentage.

Finally, after playing this game from its launch, I have a shiny! I have no clue if its a decent one or not but its a shiny.
